The magazine «In America» is retrospective of the year 2020 and the events in America with texts by «Die Zeit» and underlining photographs by Robert Frank from the 1960s. The task was to conceive and design a magazine with at least 30 pages and the previously mentioned texts and images. In the magazine I wanted to reflect the shift of the American society, but also the clash of the two political sides and a sense of discomfort and confinement. I also wanted to deal with the images and text in such a way that they influence and support each other. In this way, they are not just content, but inform the design of each page in a new way.
As part of the poster design class, the task was to design a poster on the theme of "relationship". For this I conceived and designed a poster for an exhibition that brings together art and science and deals with the relationship between space and time – «Relation of space and time». The final design is inspired by kinetic art and optical illusion, in a technical and mathematical construct. The motif almost pulls you towards it, yet it gives a sense of space and movement, or rather, movement is the physical representation of time in a given space.
For New Year 2021 I wanted to design and print New Year cards, for this I developed a numbering system from simple shapes. With the font, which I christened Numera Modula, I designed an animation and card.
The poster "SGD goes DADA" was designed as part of a competition. The aim was to design a poster/invitation for the SGD's 2020 general assembly. Since the general assembly was to take place in the Cabaret Voltair, Dada was an obvious basis for it. Thus, I wanted to bring Dada into 2020. The main motif is a combination of two well-known Dada motifs. The 3D rendered, almost absurd, metal sculpture, makes the past visible and is not uninspired by Man Ray's Readymades.

Before and during my four year apprenticeship I discovered my fascination for typography, posters, editorial design, modular and flexible visual systems, as well as for design theory, history and philosophy. Since then I have been closely following design trends from all over the world and try to put their emergence in context with social changes.
